I was just browsing the forum, and everyone seems to be using pretty sophisticed camera equipment.

Does anyone MoBlog? And if they do, do you prefer using a real camera?

Arrrgh there matie ......I have a camera phone and a blog. But never use the camera. One thing I don't like is that the only way I can get the pictures out is to email it from the phone (read $$$). So I am definitely in the "real camera" crowd. Mind you that I saw one guy in Madrid shooting his entire tour with a cellphone and thought that was neat. So I might be inclinded to use it if the technology wasn't so absolutely limited.

I have a Sony k800i which is 'meant' to have one of the better cameras, but personally i think it's awful. Well, i guess it's ok when there's a lot of light, but indoors it's not very good. I only use it to take random photos and when i don't want to get a proper camera out! Though it is easy to transfer photos with bluetooth onto my MacBook which is cool.

I've moblogged from my phone a few times. The quality isn't anywhere near as good as a real camera, but the benefit is immediacy :)
