It's funny that Rich-a mentioned Hotel California, because that is one of my travel reminders. I was sitting in a beach-side restaurant in Varadero, Cuba where this trio of musicians was entertaining the guests. They played mostly cuban music, but when they got to our table and saw that we were definately not native cubans (I am white and I was with 3 asian guys) they decided to play some foriegn music. So they played Hotel California. The singer didn't speak English, so he was phoentically singing the song. Generally he did pretty well, but there were some things he messed up. After the song, I bought one of the trios CDs, which included Hotel California.
The Ketchup Song (of all things) reminds me of the Navimag Ferry in Chilean Patagonia.
Lots of other songs too. But mainly when I am feeling blue and hating work I start humming the theme song to Pilot Guides (Globe Trekker) and it makes me feel better, because I know there is a great trip that I will be on soon!
