To be honost. I actually liked the blocks when quoting someone. I think a post looks much more well-organized with blocks. Now its just a line at the side of the quoted text. For some reason this has changed. Is there a chance that the quoting blocks come back instead of the line? Maybe I am just spending too much time on the forum....

With blocks I meant box. To avoid any misunderstanding...

And often the lines seem to corrupt, so regardless of how many blank lines you add before the reply, the start of the quotes overruns the start of the text

Example...

With blocks I meant box. To avoid any misunderstanding...

Just to show what i'm talking about, this has 3 blank lines inserted, and the lines still overlap the "Just".

I think we changed this after someone suggested it actually. I personally prefer it how it is now. But I'm open to other input.

I've filed your issue as a bug Rich. The source code is actually broken when formatting code, so it's little wonder your browser is not showing it correctly.

Yeah, it's a bug. For a quick fix, put a space " " in each line and it will show up.

If the big boss prefers the line, then I probably can shake it:(

So you're not going to fight for it, eh?
You know, he's not really that big.

Okay, I'll throw my two cents into the ring...

I've become accustomed to the "new" quoted look, but personally prefer the old one. It was easier to recognize the quoted text at a glance if more than one comment was quoted. (Especially if someone has quoted another, made a reply immediately after, then goes on to quote more and reply. Basically, quote - reply - quote - reply. Hope that made sense...)

I'm also just replying from a janitor's point of view since I skim through a large quantity of threads seeking out madness and mayhem.

Thanks Isa, that's exactly what I meant. That's the advantage being a native speaker;)
