Man, If I had seen this post earlier, I could have made some serious money off of Rich and Nikki with your Portugal predictions, lol ;)

Sorry Katie. Hopefully you've now learn't to check TP more often ;)

I hoped they'd win, but didn't think they would - thought it would be a game too much.

CONGRATULATIONS GREECE/HELLAS - They fully deserved it, and it was a great result for football.

Katie, I would have been happy to pay up after a result like that, and despite not failing to pick either the winner (Czech Republic) or top scorer (Van Nistelrooij), i still finished well ahead for the tournament

Congrats to Greece ........but they made me lose a lot of money,,,, .........i'll just have to go on a long trip to recover... ;) .... watching the game though Greece played great but I felt so sorry for the Portuguese team and supporters , they looked heartbroken........

lol Rich! There is always a lesson that can be learned about checking posts more often on TP ;) Congrats to you as well for doing well in your tourny.

Nikki, sorry to hear you didn't do as well. And I feel (only slightly) bad for the Portuguese fans as well. There's a Portuguese family that lives on my street and after the game yesterday they stood on their lawn with a Portugal flag and a whistle, and whistled every time a car went by to get them to honk. Was a little annoying, actually. Ok, I take it back, I don't feel bad for them Go Greece!
