Hello,

I'm visiting Paris for three day's from the 29th-31st of January, and hoping to move to the city in the summer.I've visited a couple of times before, but i'd like to find a parisian, or someone who knows the city well, to show me around and give me a greater insight into the city. I'm also trying to learn French at the moment so any practice would be useful, or, if you're learning English, it would give you a chance to practice. I'm from England and i'm 20 years old. I'm hoping to teach English in Paris. If you can help me out, even if it's just for a couple of hours, it would be great.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Tom

Hi Tom,

There´s an online hospitality club called Couchsurfing, where members offer to host traveller and/or meet them when they visit their town.
I´m currently using the system while travelling and I get to meet great people.
If interested, sign up (it´s entirely free) at www.couchsurfing.com

Hope this helps,

Spootnik

Hi Tom !

French website dedicated to the parisian nightlife and clubbing:
http://www.vodkacoca.com/

Public Parks and Gardens in Paris :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_parks_and_gardens_in_Paris
(it can help to rest a little when you are sick with traffic jams)

If you need any advice, just send me a message.

Cheers
Philippe
