Hello, I stumbled across this website and thought I would introduce myself a bit. I'm heading to Morocco from USA, I'm hoping in April 07. I'm very excited about this trip. I am meeting a friend and staying the night in Casablanca when I arrive. We plan to travel into El Jadida, Safi, Essauira and Marrakech. I'd like to get prices and ideas of good accomodations. I'm on a budget so not expensive, but not cheap either...preferrably 3-4 star ratings. Or can someone point me in the direction of a host family?
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Hi Tammy! Welcome to TP. I'm sure you'll find plenty of answres to your qustions on here. Why not consider posting your request about Morocco in the Africa forum, too? You'll have an even beter chance of getting responses that way.
Enjoy your trip!
Hi Tammy, welcome to travellerspoint. I am also going to Marocco this year in July. I am doing it by car from Holland. I did some research already, maybe we can help each other. First advice for you maybe. If you don't have the Lonely planet of Marroco yet, you should run the bookstore NOW (no I am not working for them, I wish). All practical info on Marocco is in here. With that guide most of your basic questions will be answered.
