Hi all,

Need some more help from all you lovely people. We are in the process of planning the rest of our time in Oz and have come across a potential problem. How the heck do you get from Darwin to Alice Springs without spending loads of cash? We flew from Melbourne to Sydney and will fly from Cairns to Darwin which is ok but we are worried about missing out on scenery etc. Any ideas? Also, we booked a RTW ticket through STA travel and are due to fly from Brisbane to Singapore and are beginning to wish we had said Perth. Anyone know if we can change from Brisbane to Perth? If so, is it easy??

Please help!

You could get a greyhound bus from Darwin to Alice (it takes about 20hrs though). Flights are quite expensive in and out of AS as only quantas flies there. If you do decide to fly, don't worry about missing scenary as once you have seen the outback it is pretty much the same.
As far as changing flight plans I am not sure how easy it is but you must be able to change them (within oz) but it may cost you a little extra- just ring STA.
If you can see some of the West coast I highly recommmend it

Hay there,

I have arranged my trip with Sta Travell also.

Originally we had decided to fly home from Melbourne but then i realised that the weather was quite cold in June down there so i phoned sta travel and asked them if i could change my flights. (decided to spend my last month in Cairns instead) It cost around £130 each and they do the rest for you.
