My motto in life is; one day without coffee is a day not lived...
What's your motto....

Agree...a day without coffee is a day with headache as well..

I like a quote of someone: The world is a book and if you don't travel you only read one page..

If you are not a little bit crazy,
then you are not normal.

I have two, both of them quotes by former US presidents:

There is not a sprig of grass that shoots uninteresting to me. --Thomas Jefferson

Whatever you are, be a good one. --Abe Lincoln

Both of them very good mottos to remember as a student of the world.

I also live by a few verses from the Bible, fourth chapter of Philippians, that deal with being happy with the circumstances, no matter the situation, and blooming where you are planted--knowing contentment in all things.

I like the Rilke one about not concentrating on the big answers in life but learning to love the questions themselves.

I will just adopt your coffee motto.
I love coffee.

s'probably a cliche an I'm guilty of not always following it to the letter but I do like to live each day as it comes and not look too far into the future.

thats the thing about mottos, you need something to remind you of them to live by them, otherwise you forget about them....
