Plenty you did not see first trip. Perhaps Chiang Mai area for trekking. Or more beach, this time Samui side. Or if you like to party and chase women, Pattaya is your spot. PM me if you choose Pattaya and want advice.

For partying I would recommend Koh Pha Ngan over Koh Samui. The Full Moon Parties at Haad Rin beach are well worth visiting.

But even at other times of the month there's always something going on, e.g. Black Moon Parties, Half Moon parties ... basically any excuse for a party.

Hello Seany

I loved Ko Pha Ngan, when I was there.

i hear the moon parties can be a bit weary, iv heard the police have set up many other back packers with drugs, and demand money to let them go, but i would still like to go if all is ok.
Is there any other events or clubs that are good............?

Hey, Ko Phangan is good fun for partying, just dont stay in Haad Rin tiself as it isnt pretty by day as they have to xclear up after the monsterous parties on the beach the night previously.

Ko Tao is the next island up and is cheap for scuba diving and a little bit more relaxed.

As far as I know, Pattaya is the prostitute capital of thailand - so you wont realyl have to chase the women.....they will flock to you if you are into that!

On the other coast, Ko Phi Phi is nice for beaches and stuff, as is koh lanta.

Hello Seany

U are right, that the full moon parties can be a bit dodgy.
Be careful. Avoid drugs. There are too many undercover cops, on the beach.
Also, be careful, with yourself, and your belongings. Robberies are frequent.
Another reason not to stay in Haad Rin, during a full moon party, is that bungalows are sometimes broken into and things stolen. One guy told me, that his was broken into, while he slept, and one of his bags taken.

Having said all that, there is fun to be had. I have heard that DJs from all over the world, play at the full moon parties.

Hello kevstump.
I was thinking exactly that thought. What kinda guy would need to chase after women, in Pattaya? Does such an ugly, bad smelling guy really exist?
