Could someone give me some advice on my problem?

-I plan to apply tis visa in this coming august...However, I intend to inform the vfs officer about my actual travel date, which is post-dated till november. So my problem now is:when i write my travel plan, the duration that i ve to mention shud be start on august o november?

thanks advance

Hi,

Base my personal case, I put my actual travel date as May 08 whereas I applied it in March 08. and they approved my visa and put the visa start from May 08. What the officers advise is, I can go whenever I wanted to go, 1 year later or whenever as long it is after May 08 since the visa is valid from May 08.

Anybody read about the news about Malaysian rejected for entrying Britain? I just read through today's news from The Star.

Please enlighten me if you have more info about this. Thanks

I asked one of the officers regarding the actual travel date, he advised that it's better not to depart too far apart from the visa date, to save the trouble of being questioned by the immigration upon entry.

As for the rejection for entry, I heard before, but depends on individual I believed. If you've strong proof you're a genuine traveller, things should be fine. If you looks fishy... then.. sorry..

And for all the others, please don't spoil the market. Malaysians already had pretty bad name in terms of misusing visas.

hello to all,

To make sure you can have a more safety way to get the wh visa, you can go for WAS consultant, it will consult you all the way from submission, interview and even the appeal process

dear zawa,

agree with u,

no wonder more visa application and entry to uk is rejected... a lot of Malaysians do not know how to follow simple rules...

dear guliking,
it is good odea to show credit card statement if it has no outstanding...that shows u r financially strong and not mistaken being going to uk to earn a living....

dear deniseong,
since u plan to travel in nov just list down what u r gong to do from now, the ECO do not really need to know what happen aug-nov...(post dated visa max is 3 months..btw if u see the number of apps now the approval also take a long time sometimes)

i think your birth cert is good enough to confirm your father details.

Exactly, it's just perfect to proof that the sponsor is indeed her father. Otherwise, a birth cert is not even needed as the passport already shows that you're a citizen.

As for academic certs, it's not required for the application because you're not applying for a student visa. But if you really want to anyway, just provide the highest qualification (e.g. diploma/degree/masters). I didn't even provide any, last year.

You mentioned that the birth cert is needed to prove the Father's details.
Does the sponsor needs to be an immediate family member or friend? Can a common friend or boyfriend be a sponsor? What would I need to prove? I just prepared a Sponsor Letter that's all.

Advice anyone? Thanks!;)

Your travel plan will only materialise if you're given the visa, right? The visa validity date will start according to your request, which must not be more than 3 months from your date of application. So logically, of course you should start it in November.

Anyway, why must it be so specific? Why not list your plans according to the first month, second month, third month, so on and so forth? This way, it doesn't really matter whether you actually start in August or November.
