actually i have gone thru most of the previous thread, some of them got their passport back on the day after they applied.

Read carefully, they only got back their passports on the same day of the interview. One only knows about the interview 3-5 working days after submitting their application, and the interview date can be up to a couple of weeks away, depending on how busy they are.

and the seats for September that they open on 22 August, i mean whether they open partly of the seats or fully open for all seats? ( If they only open partly of the seats, that means people still can wait for the other open day )

It doesn't matter whether they open it all or partly, does it? You still gotta check for available appointment slots and book yours. Just keep checking, as there could be cancellations which will open up appointment slots.

Hi Guys, just to give you all a scenario of my case..

I handed in my application on 20th August 2008, and i got a called from VFS on 22th August 2008 that my interview is scheduled on 24th September. My intended travel date is on 1st of Oct 2008.

So i guess you guys can figure out how long and how much time is needed from handed in the doc to interview by British High Comm. :(

Ingyn,

how come you got interviewed?
have you hand in all the document they needed?

anybody have stated the visa that start on November?
(tier 5 gonna take place in November, i like to know whether i can put my travel date on Nov, because of certain reason i really need to take up to 3 months)

VFS officer will just inform us on the time and date of the interview as scheduled by the British High Comm. Normally there will be no reason given by them as the assesment is done by the ECO at British High Comm.

I asked if i need to bring any particular document and i was told not need to. Just come and attend the interview at 8am. ;)

So i m now preparing for the interview and go through the documents that i submitted to them

I will put November/December for my travel date.
As i understand, the rules will be based on the scheme when u apply, not when u travel, if you apply under WHM scheme and its approved, doesnt matter that later it change to new programme, wont affect you.

Hi,

I had submitted my app in aug and stated I will travel in nov. Well I got my visa approved.

You can actually stated the date 3 month from your application date. say you applied on 8th Sep, you may put travel on 8th Dec. ;)

When I was called for interview by the VFS agent, they also said no need to bring anything for the interview. However, during the interview, I was asked were you informed to prepare anything for submission. I said no but I had brought along my bank statement. That was short from my initial application...

I was lucky not to listen to the vfs agent. So it will be safe to prepare a set of doc you think you might have leave out from your application.:)

good luck

In normal circumstances, you do not need to bring anything, unless like in your case, you forgot to include your bank statement, or you realised later that you wanted to show more.

It is not the responsibility of the VFS or even within their knowledge what is needed in your case, as you should have had submitted everything required in the first place. If you're called for an interview, that means either your case is not strong enough or they just want to be sure you're genuinely going there for a holiday.

;) just curious, hope you dont mind me asking this, what make you think that Malaysian gals willing to be an Indonesian maid in UK? especially those able to online, log in to travellerspoint, applying WHM visa, and those plan to travel and work, those aiming to work as waitress, factory worker, retail assistant, etc... so many choices, wonder if anyone willing to be an indonesian maid.

i would suggest you advertise it on local newspaper, target on those not applying WHM visa, who dont know the path to uk. u can sponsor them work permit. There are many agents here, can give you their contacts if you want.

Inform me if there is really some gals out there that like to be an indo maid. just curious, hope you dont mind.
