dear sue9251,
the immigration officer will only ask where you intend to go or visit. you can just tell them the towns and attractions that makes you want to visit Britain, like Oxford's many historic colleges and universities, York's town-in-a-castle, or Bath's Roman Baths. just simple and neat, no need to go into details.

Hi, I'm from Malaysia and planning to go to UK under the HMV. I am graduating soon and would like to know if it possible to apply for the HMV without any work experience? What field of work is in demand as I am obtaining a finance major degree. And does having relatives in UK help in the application. As I have read from previous postings, once they stamp rejected, we can't go to the UK anymore? Any details anyone.

No specific proof that they will question you because you travel on a mid east airline, but my sis told me is more risky, she is working as a stewardess, she said normally they will check more strict on Mid east airline passenger~ and more over Europe country really concern about those mid east terrorist~

hello,

it's fine to apply without work experiences. i'm unsure of what is in demand though. and yes, it helps in some way to have relatives. not to worry if they reject your application as an appeal could be made.

some of the previous post and websites on this forum will help. you could download (or just view) the application form and checklist from vfs.com.my to get a better picture of what is required and work from there. do post again if there's anything

If you're taking Sri Lankan air, you will need to stopover @ Colombo airport for 5-6 hours, but the airport was closed a few days ago due to fear of air attack by the rebel Liberation Tiger of Tamil. I think it should be back in operation, but still it's scary (I will not opt for Sri Lankan air ;))

Emirates is not expensive as well, maybe you can consider that. But again, you'll need to transit @ Dubai airport.

Thai Airways is quite cheap too, do check out the prices. Transit time is about 3-4 hours.

Hi all, I have questions on filling the WHM non-settlement application form. For WHM application, do i need to fill in the Section 7 - Employment in The United Kingdom? It state 'You only need to complete this section if you are applying as a work permit holder, or take up permit-free employment (including UK ancestry)'. Please help! thanks
