yes it may affect the chances to gbet a job,

but still depend on wat job u look for,

my advice is dun be choosy, grab whatever job before ur eye

like the restaurant i am currently working still looking for waiter or waitress

this morning a girl left after a week working as she claims the job is hard for her

all the best

dun worry to much on the job concern

Hi There,
I'm Sam from Ipoh, and feeling really thankful that I stumbled upon this Forum Thread which seems to be the most active for applying a WHM visa.

I'm pretty pressed for time as I'm afraid the WHM scheme will be replaced before I can apply.
Furthermore, heard that its pretty hard to schedule an interview nowadays ..
So really praying hard that I can get my documents in time in a few days .
I took time to read through 130 pages yesterday night , printed out the comments, tips and even reasons for failure. .
So I really hope I can get through.

I have an British PR Uncle who is here on holiday at the moment.
So asking him to send a letter through snailmail + house S&P agreements might be too time consuming =(
Could I just ask him to write a letter here and sign it ?
But then I'm worried that it wouldn't seem genuine , as there's no proof of postage / ownership of house . .

Woo .. so many worries .
But I'm gonna keep trusting in my God =)

if u cant get any convincing local support, just ignore it and put down the hotel or hostel u intend to stay

i was doing so for my application and i manage to get the visa without any interview

CONCENTRATE on ur itinerary?!!!!! this is the main concern by the officer

Also together with ur financial support document

U must be able to convince them u are going there to travel and to WORK

all the best

simon

Hi Everyone,

I just attended the interview at BHC this morning. The qeustions asked by the ECO are as follows:-

1. Are u feeling well for the interview?
2. Who filled the application form and are the info given true?
3. Any documents u would like to give me?
4. What visa are you applying?
5. Why are you seeking entry to the UK?
6. What is your job in Malaysia and how long have you been working?
7. Are you going to work in the same industry in the UK?
8. Are you going to work in the UK?
9. What jobs are you planning to do in the UK?
10. Give me one place that you really want to visit in the UK.
11. Is there any thing else you would like to tell me?
12. Are you still feeling well?
13. When do you want to start your visa?
14. Your passport will be ready for collection latest by Thursday

The lady ECO was friendly but i am not 100% sure whether she is giving me the visa or not as she doesnt mentioned or said that ' I will give you the visa ' She only asked me when i want the visa to starts and says that i would be able to pick up my passport on Thursday at VFS.

Has anyone failed to get a visa after interview? Did they tell you that your visa can also be collected although they refuse the visa?

Hmm... i am not sure if i will be getting my visa ... anyone in my situation before?

yo, seems like you made it through ??
Haha, I'm wondering when you scheduled your interview ?
Becauser at the moment, I'm rushing to get my documents ready and really hopeful for a slot and approval before the close the WHM scheme.

Hi,

I would like to know about the online booking schedule which I couldn't book a date for the interview since september until now. I also would like to aaply for the WHM visa and have walked in to the Bristish High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, but they told me to book an online seat. So, do anyone know that how to book for a date? What can I do? I must travel to UK this coming 6 November 2008, so can anyone please help me in this? If the dates are not available, do you have other way for me to submit my application form? I hope that someone can helpo me in this. PLEASE...

I hope to hear from your kindly reply soon. Thank you so much.

Regards,
Wendy
