Quoting anxious

I just received a call from BHC at 8am today and they scheduled an interview tomorrow morning for me and my partner at the same time slot since we both applied together as a married couple. I hope we get call in together so it'll ease the thought of being left alone with the interviewer

We are pretty nervous and i'm going to look at our planned itinenary again to prepare for any questions on our destination. And also i'm going to read up the old posting again for the interview questions for pointers.

I have never felt this nervous and anxious since schooling days

If any of you guys who went for the recent interviews in Singapore, it'll be great to hear from you guys for any tips or just to share your interview process.

Wish us good luck and Aidy_asha84, hope you'll get call in real soon.

Hi anxious,

Wish u both all the very best, atleast u have got an chance.Give it ur best!

For those applicants from Singapore, I've had my visa approved in Aug 2008 but I do hope my experience will give you some ideas.

Regarding the passport problem, I also have the urgency to travel out from Singapore. So, I requested VFS to return my passport back early. I remember I requested my passport back after they informed me my interview was scheduled 1 mth later. So, I've my passport back after 3 working days. Then, I got to bring back the passport to VFS after my visa was approved. The interviewer not even know my passport not with KL BH.

Then, my interview questions at Singapore BH quite similar with those at KL but it really depend on what information they have about you.

I hope this will help. Wish you all good luck and all the best!

London Calling!! We got it!! Thanks to everyone for the oh so handy tips and advises!!

It was a seperate interview for hubby and me and i think we handle it quite well. The lady said she was very happy with the interviews and asked to call VFS office next wed and check if our passport is ready to collect.

My advise for those attending the interview, add abit of humour and don't be nervous although i was last night! And today when i got up i felt much better and i figured, i shouldn't be trying too hard with what to say and remembering everything in details. My hubby made it much better when he said, " just go in and have fun, talk to the person like you're sharing your exciting adventure with a friend". So yes i did that and throughout the interview, it felt more like we were having conversation and we laughed in between.

Likewise, the questions were very similar to those who posted here. The whole conversation was recorded, and I think because it's a bureaucracy, they cannot give you the visa unless you meet all the criteria, just in case there is some kind of screw up in future, they can always refer back to your interview notes.

So no fear guys and tell them what they need to hear but don't go round the bush which making it more complilcated.

Good luck guys!!!!

Just stumbled into this forum while searching for information. I'm glad to find out that I wasn't the only one happy to receive my passport with the sticker stating that I was good to go to UK. I am in London and looking around for a job, in the meantime, enjoying my time here. So just a note to say hi. ;)
