Hi everyone there,
I would like to share with all of you my situation. As for me, applying this visa is not easy to apply. I do not know this forum till i go for my interview (april 2009) then i meet one of our member in this forum who tell me about this forum(she's now in uk) and she's attending the interview at the same day. On that day (my interview day) the moment i step into the BHC's territory, i feel like my stomach got 'alot-alot' of butterfly. I dont admit my self that i'm nerveous but just my stomach the problem. if i know this forum in the earlier, i'll get assistant from here.

ok, the story go like this. I submit my application on the late of April 2008. I when through the interview but i fail the interview because i do not have strong evidence of my cash in my HSBC account. This is because i'm working in tourism line and i received more tips and commision in cash than my salary. So right now, i'm in appeal status. i submit my appeal on 15th May2009. Bingo! So my appeal status been exactly half year till today. i have half yr to wait.

Last week i did call up BHC and ask them about my appeal status " Ms, your appeal have been forward to London and no news mean a good news" Wow! no news means good news. I mean thats good then. But how long i have to wait? i know in 1 year. Will they consider 1 year, maybe to 7 or 8 mths.

My question,
If BHC call up, do i guarantee got my visa or do i need to attend another interview?
Do they ask my proposal of my itinerary in UK again?
What will they ask in this second interview?
But i'm very sure they will ask for my bank statement because i ask them last week. My advise for those out there who are in appeal status, please do not with draw your cash which the bank statement that you been submitted during you first interview. If you do, please stand by a strong reason why you draw your $.

For those who are in appeal status and interested to share this status, please do not hesitate to pop a line for me.

Follow your instinct. Bring any necessary documents that you feel is necessary or may left out during your submission to support your application.

I brought a letter from one of the company that i was working for stating my service fees. Since i am a freelancer, i have numerous money deposited to my account at a different time. I missed out one letter during my submission since i couldn't receive it on time. Before my interview, my instinct tells me to prepare it just in case the interviewer question on that particular amount. Fortunately, i brought it and she did asked me during my interview.

Trace back what you may have left out.

hello there, have a few questions here.

I have submitted my application on 3rd oct, but currently no news, no call. is it normal?

anyone submitted same date or later than me?how is your status?

also, can i become an Au-Pair holding the working holidaymaker visa?

and if we are not working in restaurants, is it compulsory for us to apply for a National Insurance Number? if we do not pay tax, we are considered illegal? how do we pay the tax then?

Hope to get some help from those who already there.

tq very much!!

I was wonder, is it okay if I dint show them my side income? Because most of my freelance job is from friend without issue and it's not a big income. By the time, i am employed by a company as well.

Hi all,

I'm a newbie here from Malaysia.
I would like to follow u all footsteps for travelling to UK.
I got some questions here hoping someone can give some advice.

a) I'm 29 years now. The age limit is inclusive of 30 right?
How does the age limit effect their judgement of approval? Are there many of you who's succeed from this age?

b) Due to my age is near the border of qualify age, i plan to travel around europe first before New Zealand / Australia.
Could one person hold 2 working holiday visa for 2 countries with it effectivity date overlaps each others?

c) For malaysia applicants, somebody told me that this is the last year to apply for Working Holiday Visa to UK, is this
right?

d) Is the fee RM1220? There's no refund if rejected right? Normally, what's the lead time for a smooth application?

e) For those travel itinerary, all of you inform only the places of travel in UK, need'nt inform them of your travel plan
outside UK (France, Spain etc.)?

Awaiting for some reply.
Best of luck to all!
