Dear Happy, Jian, CPSpring, WHC,

May I know when do you all put in your application?

Today I have a long meeting conferences until 6:30pm, so I miss out 3 calls from 03-21632670 on 3:30pm.

I call back on 4pm but the system say the Visa Centre already closed.

Are you having the same number for call up an interview? I'm so worry now....

I think I gonna call back tomorrow.

I'm actually request back my passport for traveling purpose start from 21st December till 4th january 2009, but I don't think they process for me yet as I send 3 emails for them but no respone at all.

So tomorrow I will call and go straight to the VFS centre.

Dear friends,
I want to wish all the best for everybody who got their interviews. BEST OF LUCK!

I am leaving to London next week and really excited! I already have some job offers like store assistant, aftershcool childminder etc. Provided you know how to search the net and have a good communication skills, it's not tough to get a low-paying job in London. If you a genuine working holidaymaker who just wants to get a job that will allow to see UK fully, you will have no problem surviving there.

Hospitality jobs (server, store assistant/manager, kitchen help) are especially needed in the remote areas of UK, so if you want to live in areas like Cornwall or Glasgow, you can have a ball. These jobs usually come with free room and board.

But it sure looks like well-paid jobs are getting tougher and tougher. All my MBA-friends are driving taxis now! Do take care not to have high expectations (or to secure an office job immediately). I tried to get a job in the publishing field (I am an award-winning writer with over 7 years' experience) but not even one person returned my calls. I just stopped being unrealistic and applied for a coffee shop chain, and I got an offer. YAY!
