I've checked out the visa information, however, if I'm going for Tier 2, i need to be sponsored by the employer in uk first right?

What I wonder is, is the Job Market in UK allows me to get sponsored by the employer with my skillsets?
Please advice.

Yes, you need a sponsor for Tier2. Bear in mind that unless your job is very specialised, many company would not want go through the process/hassle of getting a licence to hire you. But there's no harm trying out the job market and advertise yourself. Check out job sites like Monster and JobServe and post your CV up there. Look for other sites as well.

By the way, if you have any more questions about working in the UK, please start a new thread. This thread should have been 'dead' by now as the WHM visa had been abolished in November 2008.

Hi All,

Is been a while I stop responding to the forum. Been busy the whole year!

I would say I had gained an immeasurable value when my times spend as a WHM in UK.

I would like to say a big thank you for those who contribute to the forum & the creator of the forum! Without the forum I will still floating in Malaysia without any chance to achieve my dream.

I had seen a lot and experience the best & the worst in my life now. But anyhow, I went through it. At one point I was just feeling to return home & set my mind as UK is not mean for Asian :( I feeling more disadvantages to be living in Europe rather in Asia in terms of the currency convertor

Almost at the end point, a bright source open up to me – I have attend my dream job, a proper office job in working intimately with the UKBA government. I never expect I will have the job offer as I went through a lot of interviews and I give up that I will never have a chance to wok in corporate environment.

For the surviving reason, I did some catering part time job. Although it sounds rough for me as it was my first time to work in a restaurant environment, but I did learn lot from serving customers by familiarize myself with the local & global slang.
(It helps me a lot now as I have to communicate with only British colleague’s working environment.) But still a lot more to learn & improve my English although I was perfectly fine during my study time (I feel the challenge & the language barrier is emerge now!)

I am feeling myself uncertainly as I really don’t know what will happen after my visa end, as I still feeling to work or study aboard which will enhance my wisdom. I able to secure myself in one of the top-notch university just being worry on the funding as it cost a bungalow down payment in Malaysia @ a cash payment of BMW 525i. Well, will sort it out one day as I still believe knowledge can change someone destiny. Now I been dreaming if possible I can enter into UK # 1 school? (Been extremely daring +dream big after exploring UK).

As a conclusion, please don’t give up your initial dream in UK as it is a very hard time for the first time but it will be fruitful when you go through it. I been praying when ever I feel the end or giving up & miracle did happen to me, so same goes to you! God bless us :)
