1. 3 month bank statement ( RM60K)

2. 2 page of trevel plan

3. 1 page about fund information (e.g. GBP2500 i will bring along to UK, for firts 2 mth. and mention how to use it, like caculate average how much for meal, stay, transport and sundry expenses. And show where i found that information)

4. Employer leter (how long i have service in this company and how much salary)

5. 6 month payslip

6. EPF statement (year 2007)

excepted that i wish to show my father finance as well, to mention that he can be a part of my financial siporter. But my father don't have a big amount in his bank acc, i think maybe just about RM15k. is that a problem? i can how my father property as well to show he really have a income. but how to and where to certify true copy or i have to summit the original land cert?

Hi Sue,

Good to hear that you are planning to submit soon.
I'll give my comments :)

1. 3 month bank statement ( RM60K)

Very impressive. As long you cud justify ur incomes then no issues :)

2. 2 page of trevel plan

Try not to shortcut on this. Do provide a proper travel plan to illustrate on wat u have in mind and how u plan to go about your 2 yrs stay at UK.

3. 1 page about fund information (e.g. GBP2500 i will bring along to UK, for firts 2 mth. and mention how to use it, like caculate average how much for meal, stay, transport and sundry expenses. And show where i found that information)

You need to tell them your total money available for ur UK stay. Assuming u have 60K in ur account, but that does not mean u have allocated that sum for UK trip. So do your costing first, then u will be able to declare how much fund u gonna have for UK ;)

4. Employer leter (how long i have service in this company and how much salary)

Yes, this goes under employment details.

5. 6 month payslip

Same as above

6. EPF statement (year 2007)

same as above

excepted that i wish to show my father finance as well, to mention that he can be a part of my financial siporter. But my father don't have a big amount in his bank acc, i think maybe just about RM15k. is that a problem? i can how my father property as well to show he really have a income. but how to and where to certify true copy or i have to summit the original land cert?

To be honest, if you have 60k in your account and could justify ur incomes, then u do not need a sponsor.
If at all if you wish to add ur dad as sponsor, probably you could tell that he wish to sponsor ur return flight tickets to malaysia.
All documents that are in Malay, needs to be translated by the certified translator. You could find them at the local court.
If you're submitting photocopies of documents that are already in English, then get it done at Comms of Oath.
Bank Statements & FD slips can be certified true copy at the bank itself.

any body know to show farmer income? bcos my father r a farmer (oil palm and rubber) in his own land, so he didnt have any payslip and EPF. Some more when he sell the goods only receive a reciept in small paper (like print out from caculater no buyer leter head)

Bank statements, Invoices & Income Tax Receipts.

Hope That helps

Hi.. i hav finished reading all the post in this thread.. really a lot of information.
I am going to submit my application coming monday. i hope i dont have to go through interview.

2 things i m not very sure.
1. can payment be made at VFS by cash and at the same time submit the application??
i saw in the thread that it is possible. but the VFS said it otherwise. I believe personal experience is better than VFS website.
2. if i were to be called for interview, can i ask for my passport back and arrange the interview later?? i couldnt wait that long for the interview because i am working in china and i need the passport. i only have one week in malaysia from dec1 to dec8. i tried to call the VFS but no one is free to answer the call.

hope someone could answer it.

Just like my PM to you.... VFS has stopped accepting cash payments from 1st Nov 2007.
Jst get a bank draft or make payment over at Alliance bank.

I guess in ur case better to apply from British Embassy at China.
I doubt VFS will entertain on request for passports before they complete your application in full.
Thats just my opinion.

Hi kila_kila,

Yup its been quiet for some time, guess no new applicants.
How about you?

To answer your question, once you made the payment, you have 30 Days to submit your full application.
But my question is why would you wanna pay so early and submit 2 weeks later?
Just make payment 1 or 2 days before you make any submission :)

not sure it's true or not but i heard the only left vacancy going to be fill up very soon and i am still waiting the invitation letters which might going to arrive in next two weeks. so it sound safer for me to "book" the place first.

no good lah, i hope the case of indian petition will not irritate the britain government and then stricten the visa application again......

i hav checked the VFS in china. i m afraid the process could take longer and i think the procedure is different in malaysia.

anyway, can i cancel my application if i have to be interviewed??

Yes, the procedure differs from 1 country to another.
In India, if you are asked to attend for an interview... the interview date could be as late as 8 months time!

You may cancel if you have got a valid reason but no refunds will be entertained.

I guess it's better that you drop by at the VFS centre and describe your situation to the officer that handles Enquiries.
There could be policy change and u might not be well informed, so best to get their advise :)
Good luck in ur submission. :)
