u hav to go in person as u will need to have your fingerprint scanned at vfs centre.
its stated in the vfs website.

yup as travelite8 said you hav to be there to submit the apps, furthermore, you are sending original document(payslips, bank statements, certificates, etc) including your passport, do you really want to send in by post???

i went to vfs early in the morning and there was no queue, everything got done in about <30mins.

I would advise you not to wait and go home after you have submitted your application. The application process will take up to 5 days. They will then call you to let you know whether your visa has been approved or not, or if you need to attend an interview on a later date.

You can request that your passport and documents to be couriered to you after the application, so that you do not have to travel to KL one more time to collect them. Just pay them the fees when you submit the application.

Quoting VFS

COURIER FACILITY

Return of passport and documents by ABX courier within West Malaysia: RM 20
Return of passport by ABX courier within East Malaysia: RM 30
If you wish to avail the courier facility please add up the appropriate courier fee along with the visa fees while making payment at Alliance Bank or preparing the Cashier’s Order.

Actually, applicants are advised to do that. Work is meant to be incidental to you holidaying in the UK, so by right it should be less than 12 months.

yea.. submit ur application and go home. otherwise, assuming that u r applying incidental to ur holiday in kl.
I am from penang and travel all the way to kl just to submit the application. had a sip of starbucks coffee and went back to penang. on the collection day, went to kl again but spent a night at my fren's house. it was worth the effort.
travel by car would be convenient.

Hi

I am new to this thread.

I have applied WHM last friday i.e 4 days backs on 15th Feb in Singapore VFS. So far I didn't get any call and even my status on vfs website shows application forwarded to BHC.

So any experience.....will there be an interview for my case....?

Whats the normal process time ? I am really nervous and anxious to know my result ?

Also can anyone let me know information on appeal for WHM as how this can be done ?

Thanks
vijay

call the vfs to confirm the status. the website could be outdated. u will be called if u hv to go for interview.
normal process time is 5 days without interview. not sure if this applies to singapore vfs.
dont worry bout the appeal, come to that later when u r at that stage. :)
stay positive
