thx for ur advice mates ;) but i think i will stay in KL for 10 days just in case i would need to got for d interview, coz my home is one south china sea distance away from KL.. n d flight tickets would cost me ard RM500 per return trip

in that case, i would prefer u to stay in KL and hope that no interview is required. the worst case scenario is to stay for extended days if interview is required. if u hav a friend in kl, then u could save accommodation expenses.
i believe if u well prepared ur documents, getting a visa without interview is easy.

Yes, this is what i'm thinking (praying for) ;) Seems like, It is very much depending on the mood of the officer whether to call you for interview.. Perhaps a good meal is necessary for a positive judgement, so i'm considering to buy the officer a luxury breakfast on d day i send in my application form JK! ;) thanks for your advice!

one thing that you need to be better prepare. Bring every documents that u think might be needed. even though u r not going to submit that time, but the officer could ask for more documents. before ur application is accepted, the officer would do some sort of pre-check to make sure u hav all documents relevant to the information u gave is provided. bring a hard copy along and upload softcopy to ur inbox would be good. just my suggestion. of course its a minor thing, but it wil be a big headache if u left anything at home which is a sea away

Hi Angeline,

I wouldn't know, it's hard to say. But what i have in mind would be the following..

- officer will look at your appointment letter, your financial support documents and likely other sort of document/infomation you're submitting. Say if you've lots of money to fund your WHM programme, they would probably think you're going merely for travelling. But my predictment could be wrong. If you've stayed in UK before for example as a student, that would contribute to the deciding factor of which the officer will make. Again, i may be wrong.

- another scenario, if you have low fund, but of which just meet the required fund (2 months) and you're submitting the appointment letter, the officer might think your reasons are merely to work and not travel. Again, i could be wrong.

I would not be able to share what i would do if you, because i've got no clue what you've got (i mean information, background, paper qualifications, profession and etc..)

Good luck to you ;)

IMHO. if you really have the job then i think it will sure support the apps, but if you do not have then it is not wise to provide false info. at least if the apps got reject then you got a chance to appeal and they would tell you the reason. however, if they found out it is due to false info, i don't think they will even give you a chance to appeal.

Hi there... Just need your advice.

I have an interview scheduled on 3rd Mar at 8.00am. I hope you can enlighten me on these:

1. Will I be informed immediately after interview whether my application is successful or not?
2. If successful, will the Brit High Comm return my passport and original docs on the same day at the Brit High Comm OR do I have to wait and collect on the next day at VFS? Can I request to collect everything on the same day?
3. Can they put the valid date on visa starting on my required date on 5th Mar as I plan to travel to UK then? Short notice but I actually applied 1.5 month ago and didn't expect interview to be scheduled so late...
4. How long does an interview normally last?

I am so so so nervous about interview...

For me, the employment letter doesnt sound good for applying WHM visa. Holiday should come first. working should be incidental to holiday but this looks like the other way round. Agree with Taigra, false info is not a good idea.
A letter stating that accommodation will be provided to you is sufficient.
Or maybe it helps to support your application. I could be wrong though.
