Quoting stitches

hey...
i believe MAS is having some kind of sale, promotion at the moment, so anyone leaving for the UK anytime soon, why not check out the offer online... you should be able to get reasonably cheaper tickets! Happy Flying!

yup, missed out on their fair recently, luckily yesterday they offer again the same price, got mine one way to london at RM1500, i don't think others offering cheaper now. hurry lots of date already sold out

Quoting 2004ts

Hi All,

I have a short & quick question. Appreciate that someone would help me on this.

I'm married, with a child less than 1 year old. My spouse and I would apply together. But my kid is too young to travel. any advice? any idea of the chances to get visa if apply without bring along my kid?

thanks.

Maybe u need to state whom will take care of ur baby and the relationship between them. I advise you to call VFS what are the documents to be provided.

i bought mine during the fair in Penang. It was RM1600. I failed to get the flight on March and early April.
Anyway, no doubt MAS offers cheap flight to London.

Thankyou so much for Skyef, Taigra and Travelite8 opinions and comments, i really appreciated.......

About the job, this is definately not a false infor as i know this boss(who given me the letter) is because one of my fren who is studying at UK. My fren is taking a part time job when she is having her sem break during her period of studying and then when i go to visit my fren, i had followed her to this shop and also stay ther for week. the boss is a nice person and willing to help me by providing me a part time job and accomodation when i arive UK.......she had wrote an imformal (for me this is not really a formal letter of emplyoment) to me, the contain as the following:

"This letter is to acknowledge that once (my name) obtain a valid visa to enter UK, (shop name) will be providing a part time job as well as the accomodation for her."

just this 2 sentence with the boss's signature. and the boss ask me to attach one of the shop's menu and take some photo to prove that the shop is existing........

i really confusing wether i should or nt put in this letter for the application.........How u all think about?......plz.......i am headache for few weeks about this.......

I would submit it together with the application. Contrary to what many believed, having a work arranged is an advantage point that you will not have problem supporting yourself when you're in the UK. It also means that you've prepared yourself well, and the UK government will not have to worry about you going broke.

Take a look at this:

Quoting UK Border & Immigration Agency - Visa Applications

You will need to prove that you have enough money:

  • to pay for your journey home or onward journey to another country at the end of your stay in the United Kingdom; and
  • for your accommodation and living expenses for at least the first two months of your stay in the United Kingdom, or for at least one month if you can show that you have a job arranged in advance.

London is so different than the one i visit six years ago.......the subway was extended to zone 9...and the fees is increased bout 35% higher than the one i paid last time

cheapest food i can get probably the deli of the day from mc donald 1.99 pound, a big chicken burger enough to feed u well, the best deal so far i can found.

most museums are free admission, bloody huge as well but fees to london tower, hampton court and windsor castle also increased 50-60% than the last time i paid for.

driving also scary here as the road is so small in residential area. be prepare to stop anytime to let other car passing by...parking is soooooooo expensive, easily kill ur off one hour of salary.
