Thanks marc_us82 for the info you provide to me, I am able to get a friend with UK residential status to help to provide an accomodation for me, and i roughly have 15K in my account, and currently i am still employed with a monthly salary for about 2K+, that will be better chance in terms of financial for them to aprove my application is it???
Do you all think they will check very thouroughly for all your financial matters, cause i still have a car and house under installment and of course some outstanding credit card bills~~~

and what is the neccesary document to submit together, the website indeed tell us some very general documents to be prepare, i dun want to take a risk to be rejected and thats why i want to prepare well for it~

Thanks~~~~~

that should help things out a whole lot, since you have secured a place to stay in the UK, and i think that's their major concern, they want to know that you will be able to find shelter for yourself once you're there.

show them your salary slips and such, as for other documents, i didnt submit my credit card bills and they didnt ask for it, if that helps.

i must stress again that you have to show confidence during the interview session, they want to know that you can survive in their country without creating social problems for them, so English language is vital.

dear jesseyb,
i would like to ask u regarding the hostel matter. from last conversation,u mentioned u just put the hostel name n address in the form which is u would stay in london. how much of hostel per one day(in pound) n where is hostel located(name of the city n name of the hostel)? u found this hostel in what website?can recomment to me?bcos those hostels, budget hotel, guesthse which i browse fr web site is more than 11pound per day, is so expensive..
do u hav an account in msn messenger?can add u?

thks n regards
tang

Tang, I agree that GBP11 is very cheap already. The hostels I found were all around GBP15-20 per night. The most popular ones are Picadilly Backpackers, Ashlee House, the St Christopher's chains etc. I suppose if you have a YHA membership you can stay at those chains too. (I'm not sure if you have to be a member here first or not) It's pretty easy to Google for more choices. Just type in "London hostels" and there'll be so many you don't know where to choose from. I go to http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/england/london/

Bear in mind that most of the better hostels are already fully booked from June onwards. But if you're using it for application/interview purpose shouldn't be a problem.

Hi all

It is great to hear that holidaymaker is on the roll again. i did not believe it when a friend asked me about it. I wanted to apply but didnt have the patience to wait so i am now in Edinburgh as a student - doing great but havent met many malaysians but loads of chinese (from China) and Euro people here. So it would be great if any of you are coming to Edinburgh and we could meet up and mamak. Enjoy !

oh... rates are going up in the UK as well so if you can find a hostel for £11 in london, that is really a deal (but the place might be not be a deal). usually it will be £15 (with 6 sharing).

Most of the websites I googled are quoted in USD, so I still think the tour agents give the best quotes. They'll know which airlines are having what promotions, and if they're nice enough, they'll even tell you to book direct from the airline's website yourself or something. I was pleasantly surprised when my agent found me a Qantas ticket. I didn't know we have that choice. Summer's coming, prices going up... better check now!

There is few airlines here offer quite cheap fare compare to others, but those are transit ones and roughly take about 20-14 hrs to London.
And advise that if you can, try not to take middle east airlines, my sis work as a stewardess, she said the custom office put more attention to check on middle east airline's passenger~

you can check www.reliancetravel.com, (Ticket world)
