Hello everybody,

does anyone have any experiences with Spanish classes in Bolivia?
Where, with whom, was it good or was it bad and how much did you pay?

Thanks,
Sarah

I took a few in La Paz (can't remember the name of the institute); the ones in Ecuador I liked much better, though, I got the impression that my Bolivian 'teacher' was not a teacher at all, judging from her didactic skills :)

I'm planning on learning spanish with the fox academy in Sucre after reading a couple of good reviews. It's a not for profit agency who puts money back into english lessons for local students. You can also volunteer/teach english with them.

Decided on here on a whim after finding a couple of good reviews online.

Let me know when you're going if you decide to go - I plan to be there March - May

Hi,

i did some spanish classes in la paz with a lady for 15 hours all together and she was really good! it was 40 bolivianos an hour which is cheap and its one to one and she is really good!

i went to her apartment every day and she set homework and she goes at the pace of the type of learner you are..i did 3 hours a day 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

if you want more info just send me a msg and il give you her number.

i really recomend her as appose to the spanish schools that do a lot of hours in one day as its tireing.

best of luck
