Hi,

I will be visiting Australia (Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns) in February. I am going to do skydiving (tandem) - never did it before. I was looking for any advice, etc on the best place to do it from the 4 places that I am visiting.

Thanks

Hey, there's a compay in King's Cross in Sydney that do the skydive onto the beach. Can't actually remember what it's called now as i walked past it the other day. It's next to the Formule 1 Motel though if that helps!

other than that, ask when you arrive at your hostel, if there's someon local who does it, they'll know!!

Skydiving is amazing! Really words can't describe it! I have only gone once this past summer for my 21st B-Day, but I plan on making it a hobby once I am out of college and have the money to do so. I went at a little dropzone in rural Pennsylvania. It was great there and I can't even imagine the views you will see in Australia. If you want some more information on skydiving and advice from some people that actually live and skydive frequently in Australia you need to check out Dropzone.com There is tons of info there on just about anything you want to know about skydiving. Have fun on your trip and your first time skydiving!

There are a number of skydiving places on the outskirts of south west Sydney, in areas such as Picton and Camden.

These are semi-rural areas that have small airstrips and are obviously nopt built-up, so the conditions are fine.

Hi I did mine in Mission beach with xtreme skydiving (used to be called pauls parachuting) they were excellent. As someone else said they can pick you up from Cairns too. It was amazing I don't have anyone else to compare it to as I've only done one but they were really good.

I think mission beach is the way forward for your first jump, make sure you do the big one. When i did it in 99 it was 14,000 ft, excellent views and it's cool landing on the beach. Enjoy it
