A visa for Kenya?

Travel Forums Africa and The Middle East A visa for Kenya?

Hi there,
silly question but I've been getting conflicting advice about visas. I'm an Irish citizen and we don't have a Kenyan embassy here in Ireland, the nearest is the High Commission in London who won't issue visas to Irish Passport holders - at least that's what they told me.
Here's the question/s:
Can I purchase a visa on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta?
What will it cost?
Will it take me an eternity of paperwork at the airport?
Do I need Passport photos etc?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully reply... it'll save me hours chasing the official organisations for info.

Thanks again

Zak Same

As far as I know, all EU member countries can purchase a visa at arrival on the airport and also at the borders. It will cost around 50 dollar and you need at least 1 photo, but just take more to be sure. Haven't done it myself, but I guess it's pretty straightforward.

Go to the kenyan airways website www.kenya-airways.com and download the visa form, take it with you filled out to speed up the process when you get to Kenya!

Enjoy...I'll be there in a few weeks!!!!
