Quoting Mel.

because one cant fully relax, because of the challanges of being in a place like India.

That is more then true, Mel. I think "fun" is not the right word for a country like India. The circumstances don't let it. But sometimes I had a great laugh with the Indian people. They have humor and are open to contact (that is how I experienced it)...

Quoting Mel.

I went to Mumbai.
Next time, I plan to go to Delhi. In fact, i had a choice between Delhi and Estonia, to go to in April. Estonia won.

I did love India, because it made me think completely differently, about everything. I suppose it was fun, but i tend to think of it as interesting, rather than fun, because one cant fully relax, because of the challanges of being in a place like India.

Tallinn in April might be a good time to go. You miss the English stag party season!!

Yes, the people were open to contact.
Although, it was they who were doing all the contacting. I dont know about Dehli, but in Mumbai, I could never stand still, in any public street. If i did, I attracted a crowd, who would form a circle around me. One of them would usually ask questions, while the others would smile and nod.
There were a couple of guys I met who were fun, to hang out with. I think I saw every alley, shack, bar and gambling den, amongst other things in the city, when I hung out with them. Men are not allowed into night clubs alone, in Mumbai, so they insisted that I come out with them, at night, and get them into the clubs.

I am very glad to hear, that I will miss the stag season.
I did not think Tallin would be a city, where people would be interested in having stag parties.
I thought they would be more interested in going to Hamburg or Amsterdam.

For me has to be a choice of Rio, New Orleans, Amsterdam and Bangkok.

I dare anyone not to have a good time in those places.

I can't speak for the rest, but I can agree with New Orleans. I had a fabulous time when I was there, but that was years ago (and before hurricane Katrina). I was also there with 20,000 drunken scientists and got locked out onto the balcony of my own hotel room - seven stories up - in the rain - without an umbrella...

Is it true that New Orleans is totally destroyed, also the city centre? Would you recognize it back? I mean comparizing it with before? As making it worse; I was surprised to hear that there is real poverty (as in third world circumstances) in Louisiana. And that in US. The American dream, wow. Poverty?

I think there is a wave of harshness going through society, at the moment. The gap between rich and poor is widening. This gap got smaller, in the 90s, when many people had the attitude, that we should help the weaker elements, of society.

I think things are generally improving, in the Western world. But it is a case of 2 steps forward and one step back.

A lot of people are saying New Orleans is fun.
I have never been there, and dont know anything about it.
So somebody tell me, what fun stuff is there?
