I am arriving at Heathrow Airport in February and am wondering how customs are with birth control? I'll be staying for a year and am on a certain brand that is helping me with my skin so I will be bringing a years worth with me. Is this likely to be a hassle with getting through customs? This is my first time flying (since I was a child anyway) so I don't really know much about it.

Please check website of Customs in the UK ; think information can be found there.

I did have a look on the website but could not find anything about this, which is why I posted the question here.

Bring a copy of the prescription with you, then it should be no problem. To avoid any questions, just put it in your main luggage, not you hand luggage.

You will basically have to prove that the full amount is yours, that it has been prescribed to you and you intend to use all. You will not resell it nor use it in any other way. And that it is not "recreational" drugs either!
