I have found info on budget airlines that operate for internal flights within South Africa which can be as cheap as budget European airlines in some cases, but are their other airlines which operate flights internationally within Africa? It doesn't really worry me if it is flights sre out of South Africa - Kenya, Kenya to somewhere or anywhere as long as the flights are within the African continent and are international flights.
Thanks for any help you can give.
I don't think there are flights that cheap as in europe between several countries in africa. But from south africa, you can still fly pretty cheap to for example vic falls. I guess you know already about kulula, as it is south african based, and has cheap flights to for example harare, lusaka and windhoek.
Other budget airlines, but not dirt cheap are atlas blue (maroc) or atlantic express (gambia).
Then there are some charters airlines that operate between europe and northern africa, but it's not really cheap.
I'm not aware of any budget airlines flying to/out internationally from SA. Only domestic
