Hola!

I'd like to know wich are the airlines that operate inside China, and if any of them are low-cost. What are the regular prices in a.... for example HK-Beijing?

Gracias! ;)

Check this website:

Skymark is another (maybe the only) budget airline in China, but their website was in chinese.

The above post has given website of domestic airlines in China which is very useful. However, those airlines that are listed there are by no means low cost airlines. They are just domestic airlines.

Also skymark is a low cost airlines operating in Japan and not in china according to my information. Please correct me if iam wrong.

You are right about the normal airlines, I haven't said that right properly. But as I check some website, it says skymark is chinese based, and I get a chinese website as well.

About Japanese based skymark airlines:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skymark_Airlines

Skymark airlines operates within Japan only and not in China.
Best thing about skymark is that it operates from Haneda airport which is in the Tokyo city(not Narita which is far away)to Sapparo, Kobe,Fukuoka and Naha.

You can check the fares within China with the help of website:
www.elong.com which has an english version.

Uhm, citybell, you seem to be a little reluctant about my post. It's not that I make things up or so

But check this site. It's dutch, but almost everything is in english:

http://budget-airlines.startkabel.nl/

you see the (new) china based skymark as well. So I guess it has flights in china hopefully.

Hi Utrecht,

First let me thank you for the website that you informed. It's really useful and informative.

I have seen the website...but there is something wrong about the information there in. So it is NOT your mistake atall.

Just for your information:

I could see that website has mentioned as skymark (china) but actually it is incorrect. It should have been that of 'SPRING AIRLINES" which is the only(?) budget airline in CHINA.I don't how this could be related to skymark of Jpan.
I have flown in this Spring Airlines only last Dec06 for the first time. You can get more details from the website:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_Airlines

The website of Spring Airlines is www.http://www.china-sss.com and there is an English version also.

Iam don't know how the dutch website has mentioned it as skymark for it should have been "spring airlines"

I really wish if there could be another budget airline in China.

bye.

Hmm, strange. That explains the misunderstandig. I wonder if Spring airlines is part of skymark, same company or so.
But thanks for your reply. Are regular airlines expensive in china by the way?

I don't think Spring Airlines is in any way connected to Skymark because i couldn't see any mention of skymark's name in spring airlines. But it is the only cheapest airline in china. However sadly, it doesn't fly to most of the destinations in China.

Regular airlines in China, sometimes, are very expensive, especially during festive holidays or publuc holidays.
