Hello TP

I am wondering if anyone out there has taken a surfboard travelling with them in Australia and New Zealand. Have you had any problems getting the board around everywhere or any problems with leaving it in hostels like when you out doing something else.

My board is only 6' 10'' so its not overly massive

Thanks for your help
Ian

Hi there,
I dont know about this but maybe you can check bus companys about this.
Hostals mostly offer storage for backpags and if you are in a location where surfing is common I would think the offer the same for bords, just ask about storage space for your board.
catch the wave ,

its not easy in nz with some of the mainstream companies but with a smaller board you should be ok, my advice would just be contact them in advance to check. boards are cheap though so something to be said for buying new one in each country.....perfect excuse!
