i am going to visit WA in march/april 07 (9 days)

My route is as follows:
Perth City - Frementle, Subiaco, King's Park etc (3 days)

Yallingup & Margaret River - beaches, wine, cheese, chocs, (3 days)
Albany & Esperance - Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk, Cape Le Grand National Park, Bay of Isles (3 days)

Is the above itenary too rush ?
Any must-see places besides the above-mentioned areas ?
or any nice cafes or areas (that are not too well-known to foreigners) which you can recommend ?
i hope to see different sides of WA ....

I have no problems with Perth City cos i have been there before but i need more help for the southern areas in WA.

Thanks !

Nope...you pretty much got it. Perth you know, Fremantle is cool--open every day, plenty of coffee shops/ cafes...ditto with Subiaco (Subi)...all within easy reach of the trains. Some good shopping in Subiaco (Hay St / Rockeby Rd) get off at Subiaco station. Some history in Fremantle, try a Prison tour (underground) etc....maybe Rottnest Island is worth a look...sometimes specials running with return ferry and 1nt accomodation for $150 AU...check out rottnest express.

Down south, Marg. River is the spot for wine...try Voyages, well....any of em really. They are all good. Choc, worth going to but not all that great. Albany (boring) but I guess worth a look if going that way (tree walk) Tree walk is great...those trees are huge and so old. It is great to see them, not many left as we all keep loggin em!

Pemberton is worth a shot, small but still a few good wineries...different tasing wines. Some pretty cool places to stay too.

But it sounds like you know it all.

If pubbing in Subi--try Subi Hotel, Llama bar, Sapphire bar...all pretty good!

any recommendation for accommordation in Yallingup and Margaret River ?
or is it better to just stay in 1 place and commute around the area ?
we intend to stay 2 days 1 night around this area and spending our time going wine/ cheese/chocs tasting, and walking around to experience the scenaries...
