Im going to india soon and im steering clear of the bulk of the north eastern states, mainly due to time constraints but whats Darjeeling and Sikkim like in terms of security, seeing as it boarderswith china and nepal

Im going to india soon and im steering clear of the bulk of the north eastern states, mainly due to time constraints but whats Darjeeling and Sikkim like in terms of security, seeing as it boarderswith china and nepal
Safe. I have been there in June 2006. Its another story in Assam and surrounded small states, that area is dangerous because of banditgroups. But Darjeeling and Sikkim are safe. Happy travelling.
Yup, Darjeeling and Sikkim are fine and quite enjoyable to travel in.
