After finishing my travels around Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos in a group, I'm planning to head off to the Thai islands (not quite sure where yet...) on my own at the beginning of May. It would great if I could meet up with some people to have wicked end to my trip. I'm a 23 year old female who is basically looking to chill out before having to fly back to the real world! I'm up for doing some island hopping etc and will probably be spending about 2 weeks on wherever I end up!
Any advice on the best islands to go to (I know everyone has their own opinion!) what be helpful too!
Just want to stay some where laid back and picture postcard like!

I'm here in Thailand, I just moved into an apartment near Victory Monument.

If you want to hit nightlife you can come out with my friends, my GF, and I, hit like Qbar or something?

Im not sure if I will be there in may, but make sure you go to Koh Lanta!!

You can get a boat or taxi from Krabi, I went last year. It was my first time out of the UK (im 26) and the most amazing time I have ever had, I planned on traveling around but ended up staying there for the entire month I was in thailand. It dosent have the best nightlife, but when you see the beach's and meet the locals you will find it hard to move on :P

I just registered on this forum as I will be going back to thailand soon, but unlike last year I will be traveling alone this time. I know from last time I met lots of nice people when I was there, but Im still a bit worryed about going on my own.

It would be cool if I could meet up with some people that are also in the same position as me (im sure I will be making a thread here as soon as i have a travel date)

If you or anyone else reading this would like I can post some photos of my trip to Koh Lanta last year so you can see for yourself how amazing it is!
