I will be in Europe for June and July. Wanted to get experienced persons input on what you think is the most worthwhile places to go based on having only two months? Pretty much open to whatever. Give me some suggestions if you can. Its appreciated.

Hello Drs

There is so much to do in Europe. What u do is a matter of preference.
Food, history, sun, night life, nature.

I personally like visitiing Eastern Europe, because I am interested in the history.

I recommend, that u choose countries, that u have heard or read things u like about and go see those things for real.

If you are in to your photography, beautiful architecture, interesting history, well a trip to Moscow and St Petersburg are musts in my view (about 5 days Moscow and 7 days St Petersburg). The visa is a pain in the butt to get, but it is worth the hassels when you see what an amazing place St Petersburg is with all the Palaces and beautiful places like Peterhof and Catherines Palace. June/July is a great time to travel to Russia, but it is a very busy time and you definitely need to pre book accommodation a long way in advance if you want hostel or budget hotel accommodation.

Another country that would definitely be on my go to list is Italy. Rome is just a really amazing city and again if you are in to your architecture, photography and especially history, Rome is hard to beat anywhere in Europe. Italy is a country which depending on which area you go, can really suit most peoples likes. You could spend 7 days in Rome and still not see everything well it has that much to see and do.

Those are my two favourite countries in Europe, but you will have to be a bit more specfic as to what sorts of things you would enjoy in a place, to be able to get more answers, because what I like in a place may not be what you like in a place. So with a few more specifics from you, you'll be able to get a lot more help from people.
