Hi im plannin a trip to Brazil, peru, chile, ecuador n costa rica.....can someone tell how to travel to all these countries internally in south america....are there any flights which connect all these above countries n possibly are there any train arrangements ( might sound insane cuz the distances are humungous)...pls tell me the airlines that will connect the above mentioned five countries....thanks...

Don't know how much time you have, but with the countries you mention, you'd have to travel a fair distance.

For Costa Rica, flying is the only possibility I'm afraid... the other can be done by overland travel (which should be everyone's mode of choice).

for most of this countrys you will find the very helpfull.
Apply for there LAN Pass,that you will get the miles.Lan is a very good Airline and has also promotion offers.Just booked my flight Lima-Iquitos for half price.Book direct online,it is the cheapest.

Hi marlis...the LAN pass u talkin bout is too expensive covers destinations in peru, brazil n chile for staggerign 700 USD...thats too freakin expensive...not worth it surely thats not promotional.

hi,I would say it is cheap paying for a roundtrip Lima Iquitos$104.78
instead $ 245 or $350
Distances can be very big within Southamerica,and not every airline is flying all destinations,so it depends where you will going.

the last minute offers from santiago to buenos aires, rio and sao paulo are incredibly cheap.. check
altough in regular flights in chile it's probably the most expensive airline.
for that, try with sky or aerolineas del sur
