Hey how's it going?

As far as i know the best way would be to fly to Lima (see this post) then on to Iquitos where you should be able to start your Amazon journey.

I was originally going to take this route but now I'll be heading south from Caracas to start my Amazon experience in Manaus and travel from there to Belem.

There's plenty of information on this journey both on this site and on other travel sites so it's well worth doing a search.

When do you plan to start this epic journey? :)

Have fun!

you can even try to bus it from Lima to Pucallpa, from where you can go by boat all the way to Belem. This way you wil save an extra domestic peruvian flight (although they are not that expensive).
