As it turns out, we're no longer dropping by Phetchaburi. I figured I should try to get some rest in order for me enjoy my vacation so we're spending the day in Bangkok instead. I initially thought I could handle travelling straight from the US to the Manila then to Bangkok then Phetchaburi. Haha! I was out of my mind.

At any case, I learned that there are frequent services to/from Bangkok's Southern bus station. The trip takes 2 1/2 hours. One could also catch a train from the Hualamphong train station. The trip via train takes 3 hours.

Also, here's a phrase you might want to remember. "Please tell me when we get there." --->Chuay bok pom duay muea teaung laew.

if you want to go to southern bus terminal, in thai ,they call it SAI TAI. I think it will be easier for you to catch a bus there.;)
