Hello! My sister and I are planning an 18-day trip to Spain. We're starting out in Madrid and ending our trip there too. What's the route that would make the most sense (cheapest)?

I've gone through various websites and postings, and I have a vague idea of what I want to see:

Madrid with day trip to Toledo
Barcelona with day trip to Figueres
Seville, Granada
Bilbao, San Sebastian

Also, if anyone knows of places/events that we really should see between May 30 and June 15, that would be helpful with our route also! :)

THANKS in advance!

If you have time left in Madrid, then also consider a daytrip to Segovia.

I think you trip is already pretty packed, so I wouldn't be adding more stops, if I were you. (You could make a stop in Cordoba)

Go: Madrid - Basque Country - Barcelona - Granada - Sevilla and back to Madrid.

If I am correct you can do Barcelona - Granada by Vueling Airlines. Check Vueling, Spanair and AirEuropa for some budgetflights within Spain.

Thanks! It looks like flying might be faster/cheaper than trains/buses, so we might be doing that for quite a bit of the trip!
