-- sorry, hopelessly self-promoting public announcement--

Just in case anybody happens to be in Brighton (UK) on Wednesday, my band, Tigerbride, are making our debut, at the Albert, from 8. We've got some great support acts too. If anybody does make it and wants to say hello, I'm the beardy one with the bass guitar. It's folk-tinged Indie-pop-type stuff (think old REM meets Mazzy Star). It's free to get in, and some of the proceeds from the bar are going to 'Save the Tigers'.

Which tigers?

Don't know actually - are there any tigers in particular that you wouldn't like us to save? ;)

I was just kidding! ;)
Anyway, FYI only: there is a rebel group in Sri Lanka also called the Tigers...:)

Enjoy your debut!

Would love to come but ruined the rubber stops on my zimmer frame last night bopping to MUSE at the 'Big Day Out' here in Perth last night.
They were fecking AWESOME.
Hope it's a great night in Brighton.
Suppose you realise that neither the bassist nor the drummer ever get the good-looking girls. They only have eyes for the poncie singer or the axeman.

Good luck with the debut and hope you play to a packed house!!!

ps: Some of us like the drummer and bassist better than the poncie singer. The drummer and bassist are the backbone of the band - without them, the poncie singer would be out of a job. ;)

Maybe it's the Detroit Tigers...

Yeah, good luck and let us know how you got. You should be okay but I am a bit worried about the drummer. They have a tendency to spontaneously combust

Cheers guys, I'll just have to fight off the more discerning groupies!

re our drummer, I'm more worried that he might be involved in a bizarre gardening accident...
