Hello Adam

Spend a weekend or a few, in Berlin, for the night life. There are endless places to go at night. And on weekend nights, the public transport goes all night.

And, of course if u are interested in WW2 history, and the history of communism, there is lots to see, in Berlin. The SS head quarters were there, during the second world war. It is now an open air info giving place, about Nazi Germany. And of course, there is the Berlin wall and check point Charley.
And, go up the TV tower. There is a cafe up there, so u can have a coffee, while enjoying the view.

I live in Munich.
Have a drink at the Augustina bar on Neuhauser Str. It is an impressive looking place.
Sit at one of the outdoor cafes, on Marien platz, if u are here in Summer.
On Saturday afternoons, hang out a the ViKtualian Markt.
And, if u like museums, there are lots and lots of them, in Munich.
On Saturdays nights go to the Kult Fabric. There are all kinds of clubs and bars there.

Both Berlin and Munich offer FREE walking tours with guides that last between 2 and 4 hours. Check out www.newberlintours.com (I beleive that is the website), if not, simply google free berlin tour and you will find it.

Hope this is of some help
