You just don't like what I'm saying, so you're going for the "show me your argument" angle. If you agreed with my point of view, it wouldn't be an issue for you. You know this Wouter, but you won't admit it. Not even to yourself.

I am also interested in seeing your argument James, in the interest of being as well informed as I can.

I think the after life, is the foot prints we leave, on this earth.
Everything we do, effects the future. It may effect 1 or millions of people. Even cutting down a tree or picking a flower will change things. An important part of our after life is the children we leave here.

So, actually its all about multipliying. That's hard for me to understand nor believe. But what's the purpose of that? to get as much people on this earth as in India or that amount in a country like Germany? the world population is still expanding. will we walk around like ants in 900 years? I am not sure! I really don't see the purpose of multipliyng. but in a way i understand your way of thinking. because in nature its also about multiplying as fast as possible. that never stops.

No, it is not all about multiplying. The children we leave behind are only one part of our afterlife. But i think this is the most important part. Not the number of children we have, but how well we nurture them, and help them to develop into the people they are supposed to be.

out of your reply i still understand that we only live for reproduction. that is a normal phenomenon in nature. because it happens with animals, flora and human being. nobody can deny that, that is a fact. but then there are still the religious people (the majority of the world) that believe in a paradise after death. i don't know what to think about paradise but it would be quite scary to know that everything is dark, for ever, after you died. probably you are not aware of that darkness but you could be questioning why we are on earth. and i know that question is impossible to answer. probably we live to have fun in life and travel as much as we can. but still.....not sure. very complicated matter, this is;).

like recently a women's rights bill was passed in pakistan ...

I read about a women rights law, that has been recently passed in Pakistan.
Now, if a woman is raped, she only needs 2 male witnesses. Before this law was passed, she would have needed 5 male witnesses.
Fuchinrot, are they taking the piss or what?

five witnesses? so first she will be gangbanged by five men, and then those five chaps need to commit that they raped that poor woman? when, for god sakes, are there five witnesses that is are watching during a rape. never heard of a rape taking place the middle of a busy shopping centre or in the train at peak hour. crazy and hypocryt. it seems that musharaf wants to rape every now and then. this freaks me out. those penguin lawmakers need to use their brains.

five witnesses. so when there are 4 witnisses then it didn't happen? scarry and ridiculous:(

I think the idea is that they dont want women to report crimes against them at all, so they make it impossibe for them to report it.
And, if they are the laws about a crime as serious as rape, do they have any laws at all, against domestic violence, or unequal opportunities, in the work place.....
Pakistan is a country where there is hardly any difference between religious and state laws. Fuchsinrot may say that those who do these injustices to women are bad muslims, but these are the laws of the land, not just a few bad muslims.

Sehrish

I am curious about u.
Are u a girl or a boy? It does not say which, in your profile.
I though u were a guy at first, when u called me sweetheart, but then somebody referred to u as she.
And are u any part German? Your user name is German.
Just curious, nothing else:)
