The Czech Republic is a good place to go and can be done for really cheap, the most expensive pint we bought was working out at around 50c (approx 30 / 35pence).....there is a good night life to suit most types. For the day time there are many sites and hisorical places you could visit, many are free , some only costing a bus journey.........one place you should see is the bone church in Kutna Hora..its wierd but quite cool, from what I can remember we paid the equivalent of €3.50 to go in, we were charged extra because we were bringing camera's............a lot of people speak either English or German so its quite easy to communicate with the locals (who are very friendly people )....... if you want to know any more info let me know...........Nikki

In the Czech it depends what you want to see , a quick list would be -

Prague - Charles Bridge, Jewish cemetary, Castle, loads of various history, if you like classical music - the Rudolinum , many pubs and clubs ,

Kutna Hora - Bone Church, picturesque town, coolest irish bar i've seen,

Telc - this town is on a historical (UNESCO) protected list so the square can't be changed, its very picturesque and generally a nice play to visit for about one night,

Tabor / Brno -they both have their own appeals about them but you could skip them if you're stuck for time....

Cezky Kromlov - My favourite place, the main town is built around an original 13th Century gothic castle, the historical centre in the town is also on the UNESCO list, I also loved the fact that the pension we stayed in was a mini tower beside the water front, it worked out at about €12-15 per person/ per night.....

If you want to know about any of these or anything else in more detail just let me know..........

Otherwise I hope you have an amazing time !! Nikki
