Hello to all,
I was wondering what places in Thailand offer the most alternative therapies such as decent massages (nothing too standard or mechanical), reiki, reflexology, yoga and tai chi? I can imagine these therapies will be offered in most Thai places but perhaps some are better than others? I have a neck problem (hernia) and was hoping to stay in one place for a month or so to get into better shape...
I found a place in Ko Phagnan called the 'Agaman Yoga School' where 1 month courses (all levels) are offered at affordable rates...does anyone else know of such places,... recommendations?

I saw these therapies on offer in many places. I dont like them myself, so cant recommend anyplace in particular.
But on Ko Samui, I saw a lot of places offering these services and also in Bangkok. In Kanchanaburi, there was an advertisement for a health place, in the guesthouse, where I stayed. If u book it, somebody comes and takes u there, for the day.
Since, I remember seeing these everywhere, when I was not even looking, I think u will have no trouble finding them.
There's a great place in Nong Khai called mutmee guest house, its situated along the bank of the mekhong river and is probably the most relaxing and chilled out place Ive ever been to. I lived in Nong Khai for 3 months last year and it really is a great little town! Im heading back there in April.
Anyway, mutmee offers yoga, reiki and other courses, which cant be very expensive (nothing is at mutmee!). Heres a link to the website check it out; http://www.mutmee.net/020020_study_yoga_etc.htm
hope this helps
