My friends and I are foreign exchange students in Paris and we want to make full use of our upcoming break at the end of Feb to go to Italy.. Preferably Rome and Venice. We were wondering whats the cheapest way to get to Rome? The prices all seem rather steep.. we are poor students on a budget! Cheers!
Well, you should have booked the cheap flights a few months ago!
Try your luck with www.skyscanner.net. Alternatively try the charter airlines, they sometimes have very cheap last minute flights.
If you have been residents of France for 90 days, you can also buy an Interail ticket. Alternatively check out bus ticket prices (www.eurolines.com) or direct train tickets. (www.sncf.fr)
Ryanair flies both to Rome and Venice from Paris Beauvais... that's the cheapest option I can think of...
yeah Ryanair is cheap for sure, try also Easyjet.com
I'm going from Paris to Rome at the end of February, as well, and my friend and I used RyanAir.
Make sure to leave Paris on time. Ryanair is flying from Beauvais Airport. (still a big distance away from Central Paris), In this case I would prefer Easyjet from Orly. (or in case of a bargain Air Berlin)
