right, found a ticket which would suit me:

hongkong - bangkok - australia (two stops) - new zealand - santiago - Rio.

leaving november this year.

£930 plus airport taxes (about £150 quid).

That good?

I'm a complete novice!

I don't live in the UK, but a lot of the people who start a post on the RTW branch seem to be from UK. The common quoted price when it's been shown in £ has been £1400 including tax, with one at £1200 including tax that I can recall. So £1080 including tax sounds like a bargain in comparison to every other price I've seen posted on the RTW branch from a UK person.

Where were you quoted £150 for taxes? I'm paying £400 taxes with the stops consisting of Singapore (overland and out of Bangkok), Cairns (ovrlnd out of Sydney), Christchurch (out of Auck.), Fiji, Sanfran and NY before back to UK!
