Following on from Leah's thread, if there was going to be a semi-organised TP meetup, where would be a good place/compromise for you, or where is likely to attract most visitors?

I get around allot anyway, so virtually anywhere in Europe is possible for me providing i have a bit of advance warning to try and fiddle my jobs around - other than that it's pure luck if i'm in the right place at the right time.

However, London would seem a fairly obvious place to set one up as it's relatively cheap to get to, whilst there is a tentative plan i have with mod Sole to try and set one up in Kobenhavn in August. Not sure how much longer Peter is around before he dissappears back down under.

What does everybody else think/where would they like?

London is cheap to get to but can sometimes be expensive for going out / eating ,etc.......would Scottland or Wales be cheaper ?

Would it be possible to do a mini survey find out who would be interested, and where they live, then pick somewhere in the middle ? ;)

I agree, London would seem quite logical, but then of course, I'm biased!! Wouldn't mind Italy as that seems fairly central, but quite honestly, if this were to happen, think I would go pretty much anywhere

And by the way - tell us more about the bombings! Accident and alone?? Lordy!

i vote for Italy !!!! oh can we do it in Napoli or Bari, you know somewhere down south ???? but I agree with shopgirl , I think i'd travel anywhere too, it would be a laugh to actually see what everyone is like in the flesh..... (by the way i have blue skin, orange hair and three eyes........ )
what time of the year would be the best ???

Well I would have to say Montreal (and might I add living in Montreal has had no affect on my answer ;)). Either that or Paris. I hope to go back sometime towards the end of the summer or in the fall, so a TP meet-up would be even more of a motivation to go! :)

is it expensive in Montreal ?? whats it like ?

Not sure about Paris, I preferred Province and Nice if we're sticking with France.....

Nikki - What is this "flesh" thing???? You mean you don't have scales like the rest of us????

Italy/Paris/London work for me, but Bari or Napoli possibly too far south to be easy. Yeah, lets not say London - lets ty and arrange to go somewhere a bit different (and so i don't have to go back to the UK). Also cheaper and more varied booze and better (i.e later) opening hours have to be a plus..

Vienna/Prague/Budapest/Berlin/(assorted German cities) any good for anybody?

Oh, and if it's Montreal, I'm afraid I'll probably have to pass unless somebody has a canoe i can borrow....

I suggest Brussels :) It's quite cheap (especially the beer) compared to London and Paris, it's in the center of Europe and there are many excellent bars.
