It's horribly wet, windy and miserable (carp summer continues) and my to do list currently ranks as the third highest structure in Scandinavia, so not so happy....

As for accom, my chance my luck picking the correct address for Arjan and Nikki out of the phone book ;)

ah feck dublin make it here in the west, you'd get sick of temple bar and its always full of feckin eijits, i know galways full of eijits too but just not as many and there's also westport? it mite be a few hours away but it'd give the rest(not from ireland) to see a bit of the auld country!!

oh and make it for the week before the 19th cause i'm off to denmark for a week or two on the 20th and could do without the expense!!!!

it would depend on time really, if people can only make it for the weekend they may not want to travel for a few hours by bus or train to the other side of ireland for one / two nights , especially if they've been on a cramped flight,

also there is more to Dublin then Temple Bar (which can be a laugh)........ ;)

If people feel like going somewhere else in ireland, that works for me fine, but i'm easy and am happy with more or less anywhere. So i'll leave that decision to everybody else (Nikki, we'll bow to your vast wisdom...)

But doesn't look like there's many people at the moment who are interested anyway, so may not really matter that much...

thanks for the vote of confidence ;) , the West definetly is more beautiful and scenic then Dublin but looking at previous messages some people could only arrive on the Saturday and fly out on the Sunday, it would be a bit much to expect people to travel for a further 2.5-4 hours to the West.........

Fair nuff. Point taken, especially if people have to be in 1 day, out the next.

But (assuming it goes ahead at all) begining to think i may possibly go/come back via West of Ireland (and Cork ferry) and have a few days wandering around there as well.

Good idea to tag a holiday onto a TP meet
