We (i and my friend, we're 17 years old) are going to Hong Kong on 23-28 July by arriving in Macau around 6 pm. First, do i have any thing to do with visa? Then,I'm not sure should i stay over that night at Macau or catch some ferry to Hong Kong. Can you guys help me about ferries information?
And could you suggest me about a budget traveling in Hong Kong. Where to go or where that shouldn't go. And how to safe my money as much as it could?
Thank you very much :D
Normally, you can check about your visa at Chinese Embassy. Check if you can get into Macau with upon arrival visa as well.
Ferries are leaving daily with often schedules (every 1 hour or so) from Macau to Hongkong and vice versa, and very easy to access. The trip would take about an hour to cross to Hongkong. You can just buy the tickets at ferry terminal. Macau is a very unique and interesting small lovely city. Easy to access everywhere plus walking distances only if you won't take transportations and have strong feet . Even to go across the peninsula. Tourism is main biggest attractions there. Plenty of places there worth to see. I would recommend you to stay over as long as you like there. You'd love it.
