Hola, Im a student tranplant currently studying Espanol in Barcelona. the city is very nice and I am interested in trying to stay as long as possible. I really could use some advice in regards to finding work in Spain as a foreigner and any website that might have a strong list of classifieds for work and housing. Any information would be really appreciated. this is a wonderful city and 5 weeks is not nearly enough time to experience it. I am not looking for high end work and my spanish is very limited. just need something to help pay through the weeks.
!buen viaje! charlos.
The better website to look for a job in Spain is: www.infojobs.net, also there are others not so useful but here you go:
Also I recommend you to loook in the job section of the national news paper every Sunday:
and also in the regional news paper (I don't know which one is in Cataluna)
Other choice is to hand out your CV in the recruitment companies ( Empresas de trabajo Temporal -ETT are called in Spain)
I hope this info will be useful for you
Yeah, I found my old jobs through infojobs.net, really really good website to be honest. I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but through infojobs you could apply for Ikea, spanish telephone companies and thousands of other jobs in Barcelona and its surroundings.
about infojobs, i guess it's impossible to get a job before even moving to spain right?
It's a very good website endeed, i even applied for a job, but the fact that i don't live in Spain it's pretty decisive
Well, thats right heh. If they choose you and gotta attend an interview...
