i'm going to be flying into paris at the end of april, i have a holiday work maker visa for the UK, i figured i would buy a car in paris, and slowly make my way to the UK... i was wondering about how insurance works in europe.. i have a full drivers license in BC canada..

and if i wanted to sell the car in a different country how does that work??

Not sure of the insurance position in France but in the UK part of the cost is based on your address.

I would totally advise against bringing a car from France to the UK if you are intending to stay in the UK for a period of time as we drive on opposite sides of the road. This would also make it challenging to sell a French car here.

Remember UK cars have its wheel at the right seat and you change gears with your left hand, just the opposite of a rest-of-europe car. If you intend to stay in UK buy the car there.
